Making your wedding ceremony unique

Sounds pretty straight forward right? Of course your ceremony is already unique as you are two unique individuals!

It is true that each wedding ceremony has to contain legal components, so naturally have to be included on every ceremony to make the union legal. If you were to include only the legal requirements to be married, there is about 130 words that must be said, along with three documents that need to be witnessed and signed on the day by the couple along with their two witnesses who must be over the age of 18.

In my experience, no-one wants to just have the legals. It is nice to be able to say more about the couple and include these in the ceremony.

Going that one step further though, why not include your love story? Let's face it, not everyone at your wedding will know how you met and it can often be a nice tale to tell.

I can assist in you putting this together, asking all of the questions that need to be answered in order to compile your love story.

Whatever type of ceremony you choose to have, I am with you every step of the way to give you exactly what you want. Some couples are happy with a short ceremony, others want to include poems and readings. It is all about you so that is what I, as a celebrant, ensure that you get.

Please call or email me and we can have a chat!
